Mr. Williams is an experienced attorney and litigator practicing in Civil litigation focusing mainly on Family Law matters. Mr. Williams also practices in Personal Injury as well as Corporate Litigation. As a former Criminal Defense Attorney, Mr. Williams understands the constant stress that comes with litigating in a courtroom. Mr. Williams can help ease the pressure that comes from a courtroom environment.
As a member of the Harford County Bar Foundation, Mr. Williams was presented the 2020 Eamonn J. Gordon Memorial Pro Bono Award to Stuart E. Williams, Esq. for his service to the organization on Friday, July 3, 2020. This award recognizes and honors those Harford County attorneys who best exemplify Eamonn J. Gordon’s legacy… “Equal justice for all.” Mr. Williams earned a Juris Doctorate at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, and won the book award as the top student in the classroom for the 1983 Criminal Law Amendment.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Williams attended Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he graduated with the highest honor of Summa Cum Laude with a Liberal Arts degree focusing in political science, sociology, and psychology. Mr. Williams’s diverse educational background is beneficial in understanding the needs of his client and the task at hand. Mr. Williams currently practices law in many areas throughout the state including Havre de Grace, MD.
